A visually attractive RC EDF model of the military jet made famous by the Blue Angels.
The full-size machine on which the robbe F18 Blue Angel is based is the F/A-18 Hornet operated by the US armed forces. During testing of the pre-production aircraft it became apparent that the machine was equally suited to attack missions as well as its role as a fighter. Today the F/A-18 is found on every US aircraft carrier. Even amongst the Marines the F/A-18 enjoys tremendous popularity.
Blue Angels is the name of the aerobatic team of the United States Navy. The team was founded in 1946, and the pilots demonstrate their skills in front of more than 10 million spectators each year.
The robbe F18 Blue Angel sports a metallic blue painted finish, and its detailed semi-scale appearance is very impressive. The excellent fit of all the model´s components makes it possible to assemble it very quickly. The robbe F18 is fitted with a powerful brushless ducted fan power system, and the steerable nosewheel makes the aircraft capable of scale "ground handling".
