Making a start in aileron-controlled power flying is extremely easy with the Dragon-Stick.If you already feel confident handling a rudder / elevator model you will soon find that this old-timer style model is the ideal means of climbing the next rung in the flight training process.The Dragon-Stick features a fully symmetrical wing section, large-chord wing and long tail moment, producing a model with docile, neutral flying characteristics. The model is quite adequately powered with a .40 two-stroke, but if you want a little more excitement a .60 motor can be installed. With this level of power aerobatic manoeuvres such as loops, stall-turns, rolls, inverted flying etc. are easily possible; the thick wing section ensures an extremely constant airspeed in climbing and diving manoeuvres.Take-off and landing are straightforward thanks to the tall tail-dragger undercarriage arranged well forward of the Centre of Gravity. The fuselage is a built-up structure based on lightweight plywood components. The wing and tail panels are also of built-up construction. All components are supplied factory-covered in coloured ORACOVER(®) film.This high level of pre-fabrication means that construction is confined to basic assembly, with just a few glued joints.
