Brushless Roton motors are produced in Europe.

At first glance the Roton series is not a classic outrunner - however at closer inspection its not. The trick of those motors is that the outrunner lies inside the motor. There is a casing around the outrunner.

But these are not all advantages of the Roton series. It offers in addition:

from 300W power and up 3.5mm goldplated contacts for controllers on its backside (below 600W with normal cables for the connection)
easy cable mounting because there is no need to run a cable from the front of the motor

a large distance between the bearings and because of that a smooth and powerful running
a diameter that is nearly as big as the diameter of the rotor
cool running because of the special conduction of air through the motor.
