The bigger brother of the "Light Thing".
The "Big Thing" is the logical development of its little brother - the "Light Thing" - which has proved extremely popular. The model is built from laser-cut balsa and plywood parts, and the main components are supplied covered with translucent red iron-on film. The powerful brushless motor helps to give this aircraft particularly good 3-D flying characteristics. All four ailerons are actuated: they provide excellent control response at all airspeeds, and a very high roll rate. The model´s flying characteristics are very good-natured, and should present no problems to the experienced pilot even when flying indoors. To build the model all you have to do is assemble the major components and install the receiving system and brushless motor; even a relatively inexperienced modeller should be able to complete it in 4 - 6 hours. The ARF version features a factory-fitted motor and servos.
